CoEva: Cognitive Evaluation Test Battery
Research associate: Elena Borelli
Tutor: Angelo Cappello
Neuropsychological assessment allows the definition of an appropriate rehabilitation treatment. Currently this procedure uses paper and pencil tests, however computerized tests have many advantages such as precision, speed and reliability. Furthermore, the computer can be used to give feedback to the subject in a systematic and objective way. Cognitive tests can be designed to be visually attractive using positive feedback which has a "game like" quality and maintains motivation. CoEva was designed as a modular software that adapts to patients’ individual needs. In the future it could become the gold standard for the aptitude assessment of cognitive abilities in several job activities such us transportation or sport.
